Food Pantries & Financial Assistance


The following food pantries serve the Boonton community:

Boonton Food Pantry

Location:    Town Hall (100 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ 07005), second floor near the Health and Construction Departments

Hours:           Open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm

Donate:        Donations may be dropped off on the conference table near the Health and Construction Departments during 
                     Town Hall business hours (Monday -- Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm). Alternatively, you may make special
                     arrangements for a donation by calling Lucille Rockis at the number listed above.

Loaves & Fishes

Location:     First Presbyterian Church (Corner of Church and Birch Streets, Boonton, NJ 07005) on the ground floor. Access 

                    from parking lot at 513 Birch Street

Hours:         Open Wednesdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am

Donate:       Drop off donations at any time at the ground level of First Presbyterian Church.

First Reformed Church Food Pantry

Location:      First Reformed Church (237 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ)

Hours:          Open Thursdays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm and the third Saturday of the month from 10:00am - 12:00pm

Local Financial Assistance Programs

Morris County Department of Human Services

The Morris County Department of Human Services offers a range of financial relief and assistance programs including rent payment relief, meals on wheels, job training, transportation for elderly and disabled individuals, support for veterans, and so on. Preschool Advantage

Do you know a family that needs help to afford the cost of preschool? Tuition assistance can make it possible for 3- and 4-year-olds in this area to attend a quality preschool program. Preschool Advantage has been assisting families in Morris and Somerset counties for 25 years. Applications are now available for the 2021-2022 academic year; current deadline to apply is April 3, 2021.
