About the Program

The Town of Boonton is happy to offer residents 55 and older FREE transportation to the various appointments and necessary shopping trips that foster independence.

Program Rules

  • Available to Boonton residents ONLY who are 55 years or older
  • Transports available within a 6 mile radius of the Town of Boonton
  • Not handicapped accessible – (passengers must be able to board and disembark without assistance)
  • Passengers may bring a friend / relative to assist them; (companions must be 18  or older)
  • An appointment must be made 72 hours or more in advance (see instructions below)
  • The bus provides curb-to-curb service

Bus Schedule

 Monday - Friday ~ 9:30AM-3:30PM (except holidays)

Mondays

  • Available for appointments such as doctors, physical therapy, salon, banking, Post Office, etc.

Tuesdays

  • Transportation to lunch in Montville. Appointments such as doctors, physical therapy, salon, banking, Post Office, etc. starting after 11:15AM

Wednesdays  

  • Appointments for the following in-town shopping ONLY:
    • 9:15AM - ACME
    • 12:15 Walmart

Thursdays

  • Transportation to lunch in Montville. Appointments such as doctors, physical therapy, salon, banking, Post Office, etc. starting after 11:15AM

Fridays

  • Available for appointments such as doctors, physical therapy, salon, banking, Post Office, etc.

To make an appointment for transportation, please call Nancy at (973) 402-9410 X 631 during the hours of 8:30AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday. Please note:

  • Reservations required a minimum of 72 hours advance notice
  • Pick-up times are approximate (please respect a 15 minute grace period)
