Mission

Our mission is to enrich the quality of life for Town of Boonton residents  by creating strong partnerships within the community and providing a  variety of recreational activities, programs, and special events which  promote lifelong learning, fitness, and fun.

Overview

Boonton Parks and Recreation sponsors a variety of regular programs and special events throughout the year. The Recreation Department is always interested in new ideas and feedback from the community. If you’re interested in starting a new program or helping with established programs, please e-mail us at: tpryer@boonton.org or call Tracy Pryer, Recreation Director at (973) 402-9410 ext. 642.

Registration & Payment Instructions

Registration for most programs can be done at boonton.recdesk.com  If you have any questions or wish to register in person, please contact Recreation Director, Tracy Pryer at (973) 402-9410 ext. 642 or rec@boonton.org.  Payments may also be dropped off in the after-hours payment box in front of Town Hall.

For programs (such as sports) which require individuals to be in close proximity, you must sign and return our COVID-19 Release Form.

Facility & Park Rental

The recreation center is available for use by Town of Boonton non-profit groups as well as local civic organizations and town of Boonton residents. For information on how to apply for use of the recreation center, view the Recreational Facilities Use Policy & Application.

Recreation Committee

The Recreation Committee will hold its first meeting on June 8, 2023, at 7 pm at Town Hall. Future Meetings will be posted once a schedule is finalized.
