2016 RECYCLING SCHEDULE
EVERY OTHER THURSDAY
Curbside Collection - Place recyclables curbside the night before, but no later than 6:00 AM, the day of collection.
Alkaline batteries drop off available at the Boonton Recycling Center
MUST BE BROUGHT TO RECY CENTER ONLY – SEE ATTENDANT FOR ASSISTANCE:
Motor Oil, Scrap Metal, Re-chargeable/dry cell Batteries, Tires, Building Material, Leaves, Grass, Brush, Antifreeze, Aluminum scrap, Wood, Tiles, Sheet Rock, Cooking Oil, Propane cylinders, Large rigid plastic (toys)
There is a charge for disposal of building material depending on amount. Propane cylinders $3.00 charge. Above items may be brought to Recy Center on
COMPUTERS, MONITORS, RADIOS, TELEVISIONS, MICROWAVES, VCR’S
These items should be brought to Recy Center on Wednesdays and Saturdays only
Wed from 8am – 3pm & Sat from 8am to 12 Noon for a fee of $5.00 (TVs over 27” and consoles $10)
DISPOSING OF USED OIL, FILTERS AND COOKING OIL –
SEE ATTENDANT FOR HELP
Drain Oil filter, place in coffee can & deposit in designated drum at Recy Center
Concrete can be disposed of at the Recycling Center for a fee
TIRES can be disposed of for a charge of $2.00 per tire, not to exceed 750x16.
BULKY WASTE STICKERS can also be purchased at Recy Center on Saturdays 8am–12pm
CHRISTMAS TREES will be picked up by the Town on your trash day if left at the curb from JANUARY 2, 2015 – JANUARY 16, 2015 ONLY! Trees can also be brought to the Recycling center Mon – Fri from 8am – 3pm and Sat from 8am to 12pm.

RECYCLING CENTER IS LOCATED ON PLANE ST. OFF MAIN ST AT THE TOWN GARAGE.
Hours are 8:00am to 3:00pm
Recyclables can only be brought to Recycling Center on
**WED. from 8am to 3pm and SAT from 8am to 12pm**
Avoid turning your recyclables into litter on a windy day
Use properly sized containers
Only recycle what is acceptable
