Parking is prohibited on any public street between 10 pm and 6 am when there is 3” or more of snow on the ground and shall remain prohibited for 8 hours after the snow stops.
Parking is allowed in the following municipal lots until 6 am:
A. Plane St.
C. NJ Transit
E. Town Hall

Covering a geographic area of 2.45 square
miles, the Town of Boonton is located in the northeastern Morris County, about
22 miles west of the George Washington Bridge and seven miles north of
Morristown on Rte. 287. It's an established community with an abundance of park
lands, historic homes and convenient access to all parts of the tri-state
Boonton residents are primarily professionals, craftsmen and independent business people. We have three mid-sized shopping centers, various art galleries and specialty shops that are located in and around the Main Street Business District. Boonton Main Street, Inc. runs their annual Farmer’s Market from June – November of each year in the Upper Plane Street Parking lot, located directly off Main Street. Other events throughout the year includes Boonton Day in September, the annual Boonton Fire Department’s Labor Day Parade & Fair and the their Annual Christmas Parade in November. The town's business community includes numerous major corporations, such as Fossil Farms (game & natural meats), Unigene (pharmaceuticals), Dauphin (commercial furniture manufacturers), Marsen (industrial manufacturers), and Packard (specialization in antique automotive equipment).
Residential housing available in the town includes single and multi-family homes, apartments, condos, townhouses and restored homes representing the Colonial, Victorian and Contemporary Eras.
