ADMINISTRATOR (Full-time) - TOWN OF BOONTON, NJ. The Mayor and Board of Alderman are seeking motivated and engaged candidates for the position of Town Administrator, to replace a long serving Administrator/CFO, who is retiring.  The vibrant, diverse and evolving community has a population of 8400+ residents in approximately 2.3 square miles.  The successful candidate will report to the Mayor and Board of Alderman, serve as Chief Administrative Officer and be responsible for all day-to-day operations, supervising Boonton's 85+ employees in a civil-service environment, long term-strategic planning.  For additional information on job responsibilities, please see the Ad and list of general responsibilities at www.boonton.org. The Town’s 2016 Current Fund is approximately $13 mil, Water Utility $2.5 mil and Sewer Utility $1.5 mil.  Position requires BS/BA and 4-7+ years of municipal management experience. CFO (Full-time OR Part-time) - TOWN OF BOONTON, NJ. Applicants for the position of Chief Financial Officer are sought to replace a long serving Administrator/CFO, who is retiring. The position may be filled as a full time or part time position. The Town’s 2016 Current Fund is approximately $13 mil, Water Utility $2.5 mil and Sewer Utility $1.5 mil. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget preparation assistance & oversight throughout the year, maintenance of general ledger, debt & grant management, investment & disbursement of funds, purchasing & payroll, bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R and debt collection, with the assistance of a small support staff. The position requires a dedicated creative professional with a bachelor's degree in financial administration / accounting (advanced degree preferred) 4-7+ years' of municipal government experience and fluency in Edmunds or a similar software.
