Boonton Parks and Recreation sponsors a variety of regular activities and special programs throughout the year. The Recreation Committee is always interested in new ideas and feedback from the community. Programs begin the week of January 26th Classes held from 3PM-4PM, but children will be chaperoned from dismissal until class begins. Boonton Parents of Exceptional Adults & Children (PEAC) arranges recreational programs for adults and children with life & learning disabilities. These Exceptional Kid programs are open to Boonton residents and members of surrounding communities through the NJ Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities grant program. Boonton PEAC works with Boonton PTA to train peer mentors to assist school-aged participants in the programs.
