New Jersey Fireman's Home The New Jersey firemen's Home is a historic landmark in Boonton, New Jersey. Conveniently reached from exit 45 of RT. 287 the Home rests on 88 acres with some of the most scenic property in Morris County.
The Firemen's Home - Chartered by the New Jersey State Legislature in 1898- took in it's first firefighters on September 22, 1900.
The Home is managed by a twenty-three member Board of Managers, with meetings held and applications for admission processed on the second Saturday of each month.
Licensed and regularly inspected by the NJ. State Department of Health, the Firemen's Home offers Long Term Care and Residential Care beds to qualified firefighters, both paid and volunteer, throughout the State of New Jersey
Each of our nursing floors is staffed twenty-four hours a day with licensed nurses, aides, and orderlies. The Home's physician makes rounds 5 days a week and is on call 24 Hours a day 7 days a week. |
